Hi there! This is our friendly, no-jargon agreement between you and the Span team. There's no legal fine print here — just a clear set of promises we make to each other, so you can feel safe and happy using Span to record all your precious life moments.

What We Promise You

• We will never show you ads, pop-ups or paid promotions that interrupt your experience recording and browsing your life chapters.
• All core features (logging milestones, building timelines, archiving chapters, exporting your full collection) are 100% free forever, no hidden paywalls.
• We will never collect, sell or share your personal data, period. We don't ask for your name, email, phone number or any identifiable information to use the app.
• We'll keep the interface clean, simple and distraction-free, exactly as you see it today — no complicated workflows added down the line without your input.
• If we ever roll out optional new features, you will always have the choice to use them or stick to the original experience you love.

What You're Welcome To Do

• Use Span to log every single moment of your life, big or small — career wins, travel adventures, new skills, family moments, even quiet little milestones you don't share with anyone else.
• You own 100% of all the content you create in Span. You can export it, print it, share it on social media, use it for personal projects, whatever you want, no permission needed from us.
• Send us feedback, feature requests, bug reports, or even just photos of your favorite timelines you made with Span — we love hearing from you!

Small Things We Ask From You

• Please don't use Span to store or share content that violates other people's privacy, or that could hurt, harass or harm anyone else.
• If you share your Span timelines publicly, a little shoutout to Span is always appreciated, but it's totally optional — no pressure at all.
• Since all your content is stored locally on your device, remember to export and back up your collection regularly, especially before you uninstall the app or switch to a new device. We don't have a copy of your content, so we can't recover it if you lose it from your device.

How This Agreement Works

• If we ever need to update this agreement, we'll announce the changes in the app at least 30 days before they take effect, so you have plenty of time to decide if you're okay with the updated terms.
• You can stop using Span at any time, for any reason, no questions asked.
• This agreement is just our way of making sure we're both on the same page, so you can focus on what matters: preserving all the beautiful chapters of your life.
